Renovation Projects

Façade

Marquee restoration and stabilization along with building envelope is of high priorty.

Theater Lobby

The 1960’s-era lobby updates are in poor condition and require immediate renovations. The lobby will be restored with appropriate decor and reconfigured to allow more flexible use of the space. The building to the North of the theater is being acquired to help aid in this project. This will allow an extension of the lobby and create the bistro dining space.

2nd and 3rd Floor Apartments

The long-vacant apartments on the upstairs floors will be renovated to create desirable downtown living space. The revenue from the monthly rentals will provide steady income to help sustain the theater building.

Theater Auditorium and Seating

Theater auditorium is in good condition and will not require many repairs. Retains the original 1928 decor in the rare atmospheric theater auditorium that simulates an outdoor experience with architectural features and starlight above.

Proposed seating renovation will provide flexible seating to allow for a variety of events and utilization.
